Adessi Zellige from Floor & Decor

Has anyone ever used the Adessi Zellige Perla (or Pear Opal) tile from F&D? There isn’t much on Houzz about these tiles and I would love to see pics.

Especially of Perla (5x5 square)?

Thanks!

    Anyone out there?

I just picked some up tonight actually - they look similar to Bedrosian Cloe White. They're ceramic tiles and don't seem to have the imperfections that other zellige tiles do, I'm not sure if they are true zellige.

I taped them to my wall - this is artificial light - they will probably look more white/gray in daylight.

This is is a pic I took of the display in the store:

Thank you Ellie! I have been holding onto some sample tiles for a few weeks and I adore the squares. I think I have been trying to talk myself into them because they are gorgeous, but they read peachy against my Misterio tops so I think I need to let my dream die. What countertops are you doing?

Have you seen the Cloe tiles?

Kay, I have! They are beautiful. I decided to go another direction totally.

Lorna - what did you decide on for tiles? Sorry I didn't answer your question - we don't have counters picked out yet but are planning on white quartz with gray veining.

Hi Ellie. We are using La Belle Air blue 3x12 in a herringbone pattern. They are beautiful and my heart wanted blue from the start.

    Here they are

Hi Sabrina! This is all I have for now. Backsplash starts Monday!

@Lorna looks fantastic! I actually just put in similar lights in my kitchen

Beautiful!!!!!! I think they are the exact same lights! Alden by House of Savoy? What quartz did you go with?

Yes! How funny! This is MSI’s Calcatta Arno. I didn’t get it in the picture but my island color is similar to yours too. Also hoping to stain the floors lighter like yours but haven’t picked a stain.

So gorgeous! Can’t wait to have ours all finished! Our floor is red oak with Ciranova pink blocker and silk Titan. I LOVE it!!!

@Lorna. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your kitchen! What color are the cabinets and the walls? Do you have finished photos yet with the backsplash up?

Kristy- are your cabinets white or gray? Thinking about using this tile in our kitchen Reno but can’t decide!!

    They are white

    beautiful Kristy!!!!

Sabrina! I’m so sorry....I totally drafted a response to your question and didn’t send it!!!!

The perimeter cabinets are Java gel stain and the island is Lerhyttan grey from IKEA. I don’t have any great pics but this gives you an idea!

@Lorna - I LOVE your red oak floors! Would you mind posting more photos of them? It would be helpful to see them in different types of light. Also, would you mind describing the process you used? I’m not familiar with Ciranova pink blocker or silk Titan. I would also love to see photos of your completed kitchen! ;)

Also - would you mind posting some photos of your backsplash with natural light and from different angles? I’m looking for a similar color tile for one of my bathrooms!

@Kristy Leigh - I would also LOVE to see photos of your completed kitchen. Based upon the ones you posted a couple months ago, I bet it looks AMAZING!

@Lorna - after I posted the above comments/requests, I decided to do some research re: ciranova pink blocker. The FaceBook page kinda seems familiar - maybe I asked you about this on some other post? I had a couple surgeries over the past several months - and I’ve discovered that I don’t exactly remember everything that I did right afterwards (!!!) - perhaps I saw your floors then?? Regardless, I’d appreciate hearing about the process/your experience. Thanks!

Hi dmac! Our floor guy is an amazing artist. I told him what I wanted and he came up with the process. Here are some pics that I have saved in my phone.l so they aren’t super fantastic.

@Lorna - thanks for the extra photos! I really like your backsplash - it’s a beautiful shade of blue.

Titan - is that a hard wax oil finish? If so, how has it been as far as wear/upkeep?

I think it is! So far so good!

@ellie did you end up using the Adessi tiles? I know this is an older thread but I’m looking at them because I like the larger size and zellige everywhere is hard to come by.

AnnMarie did you end up using them? I am also looking at them. Thanks and Happy renovating!

@Lorna - my kitchen renovation was dealyed - so, finally starting and also doing floors.

It’s now been a year since you refinished your red oak floors using Ciranova. Do you still like the Ciranova Silk Titan finish on them? Your floors look beautiful in your photos - trying to finalize finish for my floors. It would be nice to have one decision made.

    Thanks,

    Dani

This thread populated when I searched for the tiles. I'm planning to use them in a shower and wondering if anyone has suggestions for what to use on the inside of the niche.

Try a tone matched penny mosaic OR, if using the square crema, put the cashmere zellige in the niche
