I think you need better lighting for sure so replace that pot light there with a nice ceiling hugger fixture with LED bulbs in 4000k then go shopping for a piece of art instead of the mirror and after that inned to see at least the LR . I find that cabinet very dark and oppresive on such a small wall but I need to have a bit better idea of your style. You could maybe even do a small chandelier there.

My opinion on mirrors is that they have to either serve a purpose of reflect a view.

Do you use this mirror when you come and go, or is it just filling the wall. If you don't use it, I agree with Patricia, art would make a nice presentation.

Thanks So much!. I’m torn - Yes, we all use the mirror all the time but I understand the point! I just moved the plant and it already feels better. I’m going to play around with art on the wall, that may be just right!
