you can replace the other one w/a double door, or a door w/a sidelite if you like.

(i'd remove all the fluted trim while you're at it.

The design suggests the deck may be an important outdoor space. If so I'd add a berm close to the road with some conifers for more of a closed in feeling.

I love a home with double doors. If you don't need the deck/ramp for ADA reasons, I would remove it, add a double door entry and wall off the other set of doors.

What pains will you suffer if you leave it the way it is?

To properly advise one would need a site plan, floor plan, exterior elevations, and possibly an address to look it up on Google Earth.
