Love everything, only thing I would do is have the table and chairs also be black, but that comes from my love of black and white.

The table is not my favorite. Why did you choose it? What does the space look like? What other furniture and colors are nearby?

Great question! The dining area is attached to the kitchen (light great cabinets with whitish silestone countertops) and is also bordered by a sliding glass door and another exterior door. The idea was a custom table (~70") with a pedestal bottom that allowed for better movement of chairs. We had received feedback that a table with four corner legs might restrict movement move.

I've included an example of a four legged table we considered.

Here is one of my favorite tables from Room and Board. They do custom tables as well. You need to outline the size and shape on the floor and see what will fit. 70" is pretty large when you consider room for chairs.

I think your choices are great….just one thing about the table….Do you think the base it is too distressed, as in “staged’?

Or….IMO, going with the rug you post, what about a black base?

Thanks everyone! It's a "farmhouse" and the table is completely customizable so we might go with a bit less on the distressed for the base.
