It's impossible to say just by looking at them what these heirlooms could be. Could you contact the company and ask? Cherokee Purple is a tasty black tomato, definitely worth growing!

The 2 tomatoes in the first picture are fluted like a Costoluto Genovese but there are many other large, red, fluted tomatoes out there.

No clue on the others.

3423 is indeed the PLU for heirloom tomatoes. But that doesn't specify any variety.

There are so many varieties, you can't tell just by looking. If you like the flavor, save some seeds and give it a try.

I agree. Heirlooms are all stable open-pollinated varieties, so the seed should grow into plants just like the parents.

I suspected that it will be a tough call. Thanks everyone for your input. I guess I have to grow them and see how it works out, probably will have a better understanding what it could be in a year or two.

Somewhere mentioned they grow Brandywine Red. Could they be all are ?

They don't all look like the same variety to me. It looks like you probably have 3 different types.

Hopefully the seeds are viable, even heirlooms can be gassed to force them to turn red when still unripe.

They are, funny that 6 of them germinated when I was separating good ones from bad in the water. I guess I kept them in water for too long. Now I probably have to look after them until May when I can plant, probably not a good idea and I should dispose - too long inside the house is not a great thing.
