Our recent floor remodel. Took out carpet in master, and tile in kitchen and matched it to existing pre- finished Brazilian Cherry that was sanded and refinished with a clear coat. We are thrilled with the results. I want to add that I was worried about doing this as I read some remarks in this forum about never being able to match old and new wood. I went with my gut and hired an exceptional wood floor company (who wasn’t the cheapest out of 5 estimates- but gave us the most confidence.) Shout out to Harrison Wood Floors in Scappoose Oregon!!!
