La Cornue range repairs and parts

Hi all,

Have the opportunity to purchase an 11 year old La Cornue. It supposedly is completely functional and in good working order.

However, I've been burned before with a Bertazzoni that I couldn't get parts for when it broke.

Anyone have experience with La Cornue repairs and parts? Are they easy to get?

I’ve got a La Cornue hanging out in my barn in Maine waiting to be installed. One of the reasons I bought it is that any good plumber or stove repair person can work on it if there is a problem (I deliberately picked a low fi range as I’m in a rural area), and that parts are easy to get online. They also have regional sales people that are highly responsive. I spent about 6 months researching potential problems and repairs before pulling the trigger. If it’s been tested and shown to be in good working order, I’d feel pretty safe making that purchase.

Tiny, Can you update us? Have you installed the La Cornue yet? Is this a La Cornue Chateau model? 120? 150? Photos would be great whether it has been installed or not. I'm very interested in the ownership experience.
