Mixing contemporary lighting with traditional decor?

In the middle of a new (spec) build and its time to pick lighting. How acceptable (or not) is it to have differing lighting styles in the home? The fixtures I LOVE for our kitchen are very contemporary while the fixture my husband loves for our entryway is very "vintage" with a more whimsical feel (I'm not sure if that's the proper terminology?). Both are pictured below. Our kitchen isn't visible from our entryway, but I am worried that I am making so much of a statement in our kitchen that its just the wrong decision.

Note: I still need to pick a fixture for our dining nook that is immediately off the kitchen and our separate dining room. Our furniture right now is rather "traditional"-- nothing overtly contemporary or modern. The dining table that will be going in our nook is almost farmhouse-esque, but I'm hoping to swap out the chairs for something more sleek. We most likely will be picking out entirely new living room furniture to fit our new space, as well, so I'm trying to coordinate everything!

Note #2: Our kitchen cabinets are going to be Sherwin Williams Pewter Green. Our countertops and waterfall island are Cararra Quartz. We hope to switch out the standard brushed nickel hardware for matte black. Wall color throughout the house is Sherwin Williams Pure White. Our living room (which is open to the kitchen) has a coffered ceiling with can lights. Our entry way has a barrel ceiling.
