Help with Windowless Basement Space

We recently moved into a 4 story rowhome. The garage level is partially underground and has a square shaped room attached with a small closet and entry to the utility room. The room is finished and has nice light hardwood floors, but has no windows and no open walls where we could install windows. I thought we would use it as a fitness or a sewing/craft room but we gravitate strongly towards light-filled spaces. Beyond storage, what else could we possibly use this kind of space for?
