Is this a cool season grass?

^ Probably, because they seem to be thriving right now! Although, I didn't observe them in the summer to see how they did then?

Here's a couple diagrams showing the important grass parts that are necessary for identification. They might help ID without a flower, but you really need to show the flower.

Wild guess based on only hunch, orchard grass, Dactylis glomerata. I don't do grass id, because I'm usually wrong.

you can identify pre-flower Dactylis glomerata by its flattened foliage: emerging leaves grow from a "stem-like" basis which has a very unique form/shape,

none of the above look typical to me.

the hair on most of the detail pics are interesting. If I remember correctly, the species typically used for lawn seed mixture have no hair.

on the second one of the new close-ups I wondered whether it could be Lolium perenne. The underside of its blades is very shiny so you can spot it from afar, but most of the shown blades are hairy, so that would not fit

My google app suggested Rottboellia cochinchinensis, but it's a warm season grass. I just use the app for ideas, especially when there's not much material to go on.

It looks like annual rye grass that has escaped into the wild.

Does this grass get mowed, because there are no seedheads? A look at the root system might help too, and maybe a clearer shot of the stem, it looks hairy but not sure, and a close up of the stem and the sheath junction, and something for scale or else measure.
