It looks OK to me. It would be a problem if leaves are soft-mushy, and often can be pulled off easily. Leaves and roots rot from plant sitting in wet soil for too long. Haworthias have deeper roots than some other succulents, so potting it in deeper pot helps.

I would get all old soil off the roots (in photo, t looks peaty), and repot it in 50:50 mix of C&S soil and sifted perlite or pumice. That would make better draining mix than soil with lots of peat in it.

@rina_Ontario,Canada 5a It was definitely peaty (original mix from the store). I took out the old soil last night and repotted it today with C&S + perlite/charcoal at the bottom... Hopefully, it gets better and I'm just overreacting. Thanks so much for the input! ^^

This particular Haworthia does have brownish purple leaf bases when getting a good amount of sunlight.

@Polypompholyx That's highly relieving to hear. I was a little worried since I live in a cold area with plenty of overcasts at this time of year.. I did just start using a grow light as a supplement, so maybe that's why? TY!

Yes the grow light is probably the reason the leaf bases are coloring up.
