Carol is correct - it IS a pilea.

FYI, there are many species of pilea and they do not all look the same. The ones with more pointed, serrated leaves and with heavy texture are likely cultivars of Pilea mollis or Pilea involucrata.

Is it planted directly in the china pot? If so, is there a drainage hole?

I put pea gravel in the bottom for drainage. Plan to put it in a larger pot soon.

Gravel will not help. The pot needs a hole. Repot ASAP if a hole is impossible in that container. Also containers which narrow at the top are a nightmare to remove a plant from. It’s very pretty but also very impractical.
