seeking modern windows with thin sashes

Who knew that window shopping was this hard...

Our house has original mid-century single pane aluminum windows in a bronze color with divided lights. It's a lovely sleek look but has horrendous performance.

So I am in search for something very sleek and modern looking, ideally has a bronze color option (inside and out, I will settle for black) and has an option for SDLs, all within a reasonable budget. We are located in SF Bay area. It would be a huge bonus if I can find something that can go 40"+ in a casement as well.

In my search for windows I've scoured the following:

Marvin: Essential works but only has GBG option, Elevate doesn't look modern, Ultimate and beyond is unaffordable

Fleetwood: beautiful but unaffordable

Western windows: potentially viable but not great performance given they are aluminum

All weather: I wasn't that impressed with the build quality but also seemed viable

Kolbe: Vistaluxe checked all my boxed but came in over budget, forgent had really chunky frames

Jeld-Wen: Epicvue seems to check the boxes but at the high end of my price range and everyone seems to hate the brand (though the local window guy swears by it)

Sierra Pacific Urban looks promising though they are saying the interior comes primed only, so having to figure out how to paint the interior is a bit of a bummer....

would love some feedback and ideas
