Dining room wall color!

last modified: 5 years ago

When we moved in, EVERY wall in the house was this cream color and I have been slowly replacing it. We started with the main entry way, kitchen and hallways and the main neutral throughout the house is smokey taupe (Benjamin moore.)

My next project is this dining room. The only problem is the previous owners also painted the board and batton (not the correct name, but not sure what this trim is called??) and the ceiling white. I think i have decided on a suble green color, maybe SW Mattasaurus Rex (fun name too!) but I'm not sure what to do about the ceiling and board and batton.

Paint the board and batton white and leave ceiling as is? Paint both? Leave cream?
