I can’t see all of the options on that link but the first few are a bit too traditional and box out on the sides. I am trying to figure out how to transition to the two windows a bit more cleanly. Hard to explain, I’m sorry.

I would have a fireplace surround built with bookcases (or cabinets with bookcases above) on both sides, but the cabinetry should not reach either window. I would encourage you to allow at least 10” between the fireplace cabinetry and the window trim. The cabinetry should not crowd the windows, allowing space for drapes or other window treatments.

Can you post pictures of the entire room, please? Also, what architectural style is your house?

I like the idea of curtain panels to soften the transition from the case/shelves to the window! We are fairly new construction so decor is still a work in progress. I’ll post a few more pics.

What fireplace are you buying? Ventless linear? Will you have a mantel and surround? This will help determine what to do with the sides(if anything at all).

Ventless, not linear. Some type of stone surround and may set the top half back to accommodate a tv without a mantle. Have a ventless linear w/mantle in the living room and want something softer and cozier in here.

Do you need the storage or the style? I’d do a wainscoting or molding instead

it would help if you could post the type of fireplace you plan on doing there. maybe a picture of how it looks done or in some other picture? hard to imagine what you're talking about doing.

The room looks pretty good as is. I'd prob want to lighten up those dark consoles, a new ottoman, maybe do a tall plant by one of the side windows (where the trophy is), but otherwise, it's nice

If you are planning to out the TV over the fireplace it might not be the most comfortable viewing angle. As an experiment put a nightstand or side table on top of the console and out the TV on top of that to simulate the new height and try it out watching TV fir a few days before you commit to the fireplace.

All great suggestions! Definitely want to add some warmer creams/beiges and browns to the room to pick up the rug colors. The console where the fireplace will be will be gone. Going to shoot for a lower profile fireplace and a set back for the tv to avoid having to hang the tv too high. Fireplace guy comes Monday and I’ll post more info after he gives us options.

First IMO ventless FPs should be illegal everywhere you sure can’t do one where I live,Do you NEED a FP why not just look at electric ones much safer than ventless gas If you want to use that space for the FP, the TV and storage a nd a bit of display check out Ikea Besta.
