Exterior Remodel?

Our 1930s home is being ravished by termites and, thus, birds. The attached, wood columns and dental mold around the pendant are essentially rotting away. We’d love to remodel and remain true to the homes age, but have no idea where to begin. Ideas, visuals, etc. are welcomed!
