Hi! We bought this great fold out table second hand and the original plan was to sand it and make the wood look great again. Unfortunately my husband didn’t know there was such thing as Veneer, and he sanded through it. So now the only option is to paint it. I’m looking for inspiration:

• what colors would work in this room? Wall is blue and the closet and doors white, dark wooden floor. Any pictures to share for ideas?
• was thinking of only painting the inner oval. As the outer side can still be wood and with a bit of lacquer it would look good again I guess. Would you then also paint the ‘stripes’ differently?
