Standing water in crawl space ?

Hello! Will visiting my crawl space to check some plumbing and wiring for a Reno, I noticed there is standing water against the outer foundation wall. I live in PNW with lots of rain this time of year. Am wondering if it's ok to have standing water there? Not sure what complications it may cause. And if it needs fixing, what should be done?
