Add a bit more silver - tables, lamps, mirror, etc.

A splash of red would add color.

Like the color combo. A large 42 or 45" sunburst mirror on dining wall. Then some large art for other walls. Yes a color, in art you can mix it up. Go contemporary. Yellow and gray print pillows mixed with what you have will work.

West elm has martini tables in color. Get a yellow one to sit next to sofa take away the white. In fact anywhere you have white tables. Replace with black or silver. Silver is a great accent in accessories .

Get a large square coffee table in mirrored. Do you have Z Galleries? They carry them. Or go on line you want one 40"

I love bits of orange and yellow for accents in this enviroment, like the paint chip below, or even a bit more orange than red. Williams Sonoma has these great yellow pieces on sale right now, which I think would look great with grey. You have a perfect back ground for beautiful colorful contemporary paintings. Start visiting galleries and find something you love that you can afford. Then work pillows and accessories in with the colors of the painting. Choose the art first, is always my advise, for the most striking and pleasing results.

With black and white you should always have a touch of either red or a bright yellow. You can do this with pillows, are, area rugs or just about anything. It will give you great bang for your buck

I would add some yellow pillows. Teal might look good too.

If you choose to use yellow as your accent color, I would advise avoiding the ubiquitous crime scene tape yellow

A large white matted, colorful abstract water color on the dining room wall. Remove little bookcase from corner in living room and add a large fern tree. Some throw pillows with texture...an area rug to anchor seating.. Large, lime green hydrangeas in a vase.

just about any bold color: red, orange, green...would look great - it is so easy to decorate with this base - love it!

add ALL colors in! there is nothing that would not brighten this up. if you are worried about continuity from one room to the next, use a muticolor print with lots of colors in it in the main room and then pick out the colors in the adjoing rooms to focus on. be brave! what's the worst thing that happens? you don't like it? switch it out. but i bet you like it. good luck. plus pick art you LIKE not that goes with the room. the rest will follow

My living room is light grey walls with one main wall as an accent wall in charcoal. I have charcoal colored wood floors. I have put colorful pictures on the charcoal wall with white frames and it looks awesome. I have been adding bright colorful art work slowly with touches of teal and i am pulling from the artwork for pillows, flowers and deco. My main color is teal, but i will add pops of other colors from my art work to brighten up my room. I first thought the room was drab and depressing, but I'm learning with added color it doesn't feel that way anymore. Color does make a difference. I have a black leather sofa and one grey leather chair. I am in the process of trying to find a fabric chair with a little bit of a pattern that will blend with my artwork, otherwise i may have to buy a chair in a solid color. Maybe a light yellow or teal chair.

Plum / deep purple is a lovely colour to add ... maybe add a few plum orchids? A large mirror, or a group of silver accents on the wall

Subtle hints of blue always work wonders. It won't over power the room, but it will add something new to all of the grey.

We have grey and white too. I complement with pale aqua/pale sea green. You could really do any color!

How about turquoise? Have a search in the photo section here for "turquoise and grey" and see the many pictures. Some throw pillows, lamps, artwork, even curtains, maybe a side chair, or a throw for the couch. So many nice ideas and you can get some inspiration from the pictures. I'm personally not a fan of yellow because it is hard to get right IMO.

I would use your favorite rich color. I like dark purple but any shade of purple would look great. I would paint some walls though not just accents if you want to warm up the house a bit.
