They have 12 ft ceilings in this house. ... your cabinet guy will reduce yours to make it work or the upper trim to be smaller . My other house they Could not get the upper cabinets but I had 10 ft ceilings , This house my ceilings are even higher than 12 ‘ Hope my info helps some. . hopefully they can help also on your question . Curious if it will look good on 10 ft ceiling also

Hi, what will look best is a 3 to 1 ratio for your stacked wall cabinets. The base cabinets with the countertops are typically 36” tall, then you have an 18” tall backsplash. Divide what’s left in height by four. That measurement is the top stacked cabinet height. The rest is your lower wall cabinet height. I hope this helps. Best of luck with your project!

I am in the same predicament with the calculations.  I also have a 11 ft ceiling and according to the calculations my supper cabinet would be 19 inches.   How much allowance do I need to leave for molding
