My pet peeve; advice is a noun, while advise is a verb. "I asked for advice." versus "Can you advise me?"

My bet is that all who respond to this also mentally correct spelling & word usage of those hand lettered signs in retail & grocery stores😁. But, I must add that the auto correct function is sometimes quite challenging to override...

Thanks! Except that I’m MUCH older! In reference to your prior post, that’s because all possessive pronouns are without apostrophes: whose, your, its, their, his, her, etc. As you know, confusion comes in when a contraction sounds just like the possessive form. I think the most often misused form is it’s as a possessive.
