The lighting fixture doesn't seem to match the quality of the dining room table and chairs.

IMO the cowhide rug under the table is a fail.

Hides are more successfully used in casual seating areas and not under tables.

I would do a credenza, mirror and wallpaper that wall. Or wainscoting, paint and mirror. Ans I agree you need a grander light fixture that will balance the table and chairs you have in the dining room. Here are some ideas.

Lovely kitchen. You have a lot of neutrals, so how about some art with color? A painting, or perhaps even a gallery wall of family photos? I notice it's near a door. Is that the front door or back? It might be helpful to have a narrow credenza or table under the art for keys, etc.

Obviously no room for a credenza on a wall that has the entry door that opens on to the door.

Art, just like beverly shopped for you. (pick whatever art you like, but the size she mocked up is good).

the hide rug is too small under the table. If you want to use it, layer it over a sisal or jute rug.
