How old is the plant? I got a potted citrus and it didn't really do much till it was a few years old.

The way to get it to produce more is like any other plant: use the proper size pot, soil, fertilizer, and for citrus, enough light (intensity and duration). Since you recently got this, it could take some time to adapt to it's new growing conditions.
