Help! Basement paint color (ivory sofa)

We moved in 2 yrs ago and are just now starting to decorate our basement. Looking for a color that will contrast with our ivory sofa--without being too dark (see pictures). The carpet and coffee table need replacing but will have to wait. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a nice contrasting color? I would like to move away from the yellowish gold/brown the previous owners painted the basement and there are paint splotches that don't match the original base coat near the pool table....
