I have a design dilemma for my kitchen renovation. I have a 10 foot wall and 5 feet is taken up by a brick fireplace. The hearth itself is 3 feet wide. I’ve included a drawing. The dilemma is that with 2 feet of counter on one side and the fireplace on the other side, I have room for a 30-36 inch range. How can I design this so that it is both functional and aesthetically pleasing? Basically both the hearth and stove range will be flanking the wall and will be a focal point of the kitchen so I’d like for it to look beautiful.
