What do you think the typical qualify of a cabinet is for going into a rental?

Thanks again I was blaming myself for spilling! Cabinets look nice but as we know looks can be deceiving. I guess it is the quality and that’s why it has never happened before - other stuff I lived with was higher quality.

I would call your landlord. If the cabinets are still under warranty, the landlord will want to pursue the company that sold the cabinets. Let the landlord take a drawer or two home so they can see how fragile they are. Otherwise, if retouch haven’t mentioned this, you could have problems at the end of your lease.

Yes they are in the loop as they are the ones who did the remodel.

Stupid spell check! Retouch should read “you”. You said this remodel is only a month old. Your landlord needs to contact the remodelers immediately. It is a kitchen and the cabinets shouldn’t disintegrate like that.

The landlords/owners did the work themselves, after ordering from Kitchen Cabinet Depot. I’m awaiting a call back from KCD to see what they can do for us.
