Remodeling Design Dilemma Basements

Has anyone had much success installing brick veneer tile on an interior wall? Any photos you have to share? I am thinking of adding tile to the wall behind the bar in our basement (the bar was existing when we purchased the house.)

Best to contact a stone mason? Other ideas where to source tile? I visited a local tile store but the only brick looking tile they had was too red. Thanks so much!

IMO remove the brick that is on the bar first then decide if you really want brick at all for that matter decide if you really want the bar at all. It looks like you are in the beginning stage of the basement design so do not let this rule every other choice.

I put stone veneer in my gym room using PL Premium. It has been up almost 4 years and no problems whatsoever with adhesion. I would imagine brick veneer would be even lighter than the stone veneer. I started with about 18" of stone (spaced about 1/4" off the flooring) and let that dry for 24 hours before finishing the rest of the way up the next day. And no, my basement is still not finished, lol!
