IMO if you have to save floor space you do not have enough space for any free standing tub . I also suggest you go to a show room and get in and out of the free standing tubs IMO a PITA and I even found it difficult when I was a kid at home with a claw foor tub.

Of course you can put it however you want -- just be sure you can reach to clean behind it, have someplace to put your towels or whatever, can get in and out easily. If you're tight in a corner, you might be better doing a drop-in tub with a deck.

We already have the tub. It does fit fine at a 45 degree angle I just like having the extra floor space if we place it another way.

I’ll include two pictures. The cardboard is the boundary of the shower (left) and vanity (right). The way the tub is placed here gives me room for the floor mount in the corner without wasting more floor space in the corner (tub at that angle leaves a lot of wasted floor space back there).

Does that make any sense?

It JUST fits that way. I don’t mind that option but my husband doesn’t like it.

Maybe if you did something special in the corner space that would make it look intentional *table with plant or candles" .Sorry but I am not the most visionary - just putting ideas out there

What size is your bathroom. I’m struggling with the same thing…interested if you ended up doing this…

I am having the same challenge in my bathroom. I wondered if the tub could be turned to come out of the corner (like your head would be resting on the short end in the corner. To me, I would want to be looking out toward the room instead of looking at the vanity or shower. I have looked for photos of a tub placed lengthwise from the corner and can't find any examples - is that because it's too weird?
