Initial insurance claim was for hidden water damage, subfloor needs to be replaced. Insurance Co. funded the floor replacement and told us to contact them if contractor found more issues. The additional issue is the custom built in cabinets have to be removed to get to the water damaged subfloor beneath, contractor says cabs cannot be salvaged and re-installed. Insurance co will not/ has not returned calls or e-mails. Do I have recourse? Any advice please.
