I would be worried too. See who sells in the area and IF THEY ACTUALLY service it themselves - or it is farmed out

I like the layout and space for 5 burners, also the look, the BTU distribution and I also love the wall oven! The racks are great, twin convection and the color choices are amazing. Hestan also comes with a 3 year warranty on their appliances. can get a free dishwasher if I buy both pieces. I live in Southern California so there is plenty of service available here fairly close by. Nobody here services the appliances they sell that I can find, they all outsource 😡

Just would feel more comfortable if I saw some reviews by people who have actually bought them. If not, I wi likely go with Monogram.

Why do you keep posting this? are you saying that these products are not made in US? Are the parts made somewhere else

Fulgor-Milano is an appliance brand of Meneghetti S.p.a., an Italian company. As an OEM it manufacturers appliances for other companies but also sells appliances under its Fulgor-Milano brand. In this case, Meneghetti is manufacturing a cooktop and wall oven, selling those appliances under its Fulgor-Milano brand, and also manufacturing them -- with slight changes in appearance -- for Hestan which has concluded it can sell virtually the same products at higher prices.

Sharp does the same thing: it manufacturers all drawer microwaves, sells some under the Sharp brand, but also manufacturers drawer microwaves for other companies with modified appearances and higher prices.

So basically I am paying extra for the change in knobs/grates in cooktop and color options/knobs in oven? Also I notice Hestan oven comes with 2 telescopic racks and FM only has one. What about service and repairs? Since Hestan is in US won’t that be easier than FM?

You're basically paying for differences in appearance.

FM has a North-American HQ but there's no way for me to know how its products or Hestan products are supported and serviced. You'd have to call the companies and ask.

Thanks I have already contacted Hestan-as I live in California service is readily available in my area but don’t know about FM. Will have to research.

Remember that anyone who can repair a Hestan can repair an FM as they are the same.

I did contact Hestan on these issues and they responded with both a sales rep and engineer to talk about their products. it is true that meneghetti does make much of the cooktop (although with some differences) and the ovens are pretty much the same. A few things: FM had one telescopic rack and Hestan has 2, if you want color instead of stainless there are many more options from Hestan as the FM color panels are nearly $1000 extra making them very close in price. also Hestan has the buy 2 get one free promotion so you can get a dishwasher which saves at least $1000-$1500 for most high end brands. Also, Hestan has a 3 year warranty (Jennair is 5) but it is more than most. The service team is very close for all on Orange County as it is in Anaheim. thinking about it strongly but I can’t use the big handle on the dishwasher cause I have a corner location and hits cabinets😢

I'll love hearing if you go this Hestan route.. or what you choose. I'm planning a Los Angeles kitchen remodel too - most likely 36" cooktop and double oven.

Just received my cooktop today and cooked on it tonight—what a dream. So much room to cook compare to my last one! Took less than 2 weeks but had to wait for installer from appliance store. They told me 6 weeks for oven cause I ordered prince color. Will post when it is installed as well.

Exactly! Wish I could get the blue one so much but I have a corner install which requires me to get the panel ready version so it handle doesn’t interfere with drawer. 😢 so very sad they don’t have an option with recessed handle so I could get this gorgeous color!

I just decided on a 36” Hestan gas range, and 30” wall oven. I really wanted a 48” range, but we couldn’t make it work in our space. I know that it is a rebadged Fulgor oven, but they do make the range themselves. We looked at Wolf, Thermador, Viking, and Bluestar.

Ultimately I chose Hestan because I felt as they were the most responsive customer service wise when I had questions. My advice, go with what you like because if you look hard enough you will find complaints about every brand. Once I started reading about Wolf ovens having the porcelain chip, and all of the class action lawsuits I decided to go with what I like. As much as I tried to tell myself to go with that classic Wolf oven red knob look, the look of the Hestan always got my attention.

Actually wdccruise neither of the zline dishwashers match the vibrance of the Hestan Prince color. Do you have something against Hestan as a company?

Update on my Hestan 30” cooktop. While I love the center burner especially for Wok cooking, I am very disappointed that they did not use the dual burners 15000 BTUs on the 30 that they used on 36. The BTU power on front burners is even less than my 25 year old Jennair and I really miss that. I am wishing that I got the Monogram cooktop that had similar set up to Hestan 36” and had simmer control on all burners unlike the Hestan. Monogram has 10000 and 12000 on their burners to Hestan 8000 and 10500 - I wish I had paid more attention to that and it makes a BIG difference !!!!! The look is great and it cleans up nicely but cannot understand why they skimped on BTU power on the 30” .....kind of a cheap move for a higher end product—especially one know for the BTU power on their ranges—what a strange decision they made her. I cannot recommend The Hestan cooktop for this reason. Hoping I love the oven or this will be a bust cause the dishwasher is OK and I got it free with the cooktop and oven purchase but would have gotten a Bosch otherwise. live and learn

Terrible experience with Hestan. Ordered my product months ago. after waiting for months, wrong item and damaged items arrived. Contacted Hestan reseller and cannot get any response. after several emails, resellers and hestan (hrsservice@hestan.com) still don't respond at all. Frustrated.

I’m some of you have had a bad experience. We did have some minor issues but all were quickly addressed. We have all of their appliances and couldn’t be more happy.
