We have the 36” SZ column freezer in our laundry room. While we are pretty happy with it, I don’t think I would like it in my kitchen. It definitely makes a noise for few seconds after closing the door, whereas we never hear our Liebherr.

Both SZ/Wolf and Miele have showrooms around the country where you can check out your options. Thermador has only three I believe. Well worth a visit if you are anywhere close to them.

We have 36” column fridge and freezer by SZ. Love them. I don’t notice any noise from them. We actually notice noise coming from our SZ beverage center.

@sarah We are prob doing the 30” columns too. But we have a smoothie/coffee/cocktail bar we are putting in fridge/freezer drawers and a bev center. Also a nugget ice maker. We were recommended to go Uline. We also have a game room downstairs thinking of doing undercounted fridge and Ben center too. If we do 4 Uline, you get $1k off too. However it’s a big diff between the feel of a SZ bev center vs Uline. Abs drawers we may have to go Thermador because we want a freezer/fridge combo drawers. Only that makes it 24”

We had 30” Thermador column refrigerators in our last two houses. They were trouble free and we’d buy one again.

I’m glad they’ve been trouble free. I love the stainless interior.
