We live in a rental that has an industrial style bench top in the kitchen/dining area. We loved it when we first saw it but have realised that food crumbs get stuck in the gaps and plates wobble when you try cut anything on them.
If it was my place, then I would have planed the table down and sanded it. But instead looking for ideas on what we could put on top to even the surface out a bit. Some sort of thick table runner.
My current thoughts are maybe a yoga style mat with a table runner on top. But very much open to suggestions.
