is there a backsplash?

If there is no backsplash how is the wall above the sink protected?

    @Janet, there’s a single 36” wide tile behind the sink that matches the 24” x 36” tiles on the back side of the island. It’s hard to see them in the photo because they are white tiles, but in person, they give a nice sparkle to the room.


    If you enlarge the photo, you can see two vertical lines on either side of that tile behind the sink. Those are the edges of the tile.
