My cold house is close to airtight and is heated with 3 13 wat CFL bulbs. I have 3 inches of foam rubber on top so I need the lights for top lighting of the tree The 309 watts of heat is the byproduct of the light The foam goes on when the temperatures go below 22F. In 1 week we are forecasted to go to 1F and I will need to add a 350 watt heater to be on the safe side.

My "cold house" (detached, large, loft garage), does not get below 28 F..

We have two feet of new snow here today, it's insane! The temps actually rose though inside the garage...., it must be the insulating effect of the blanketing snow mounds.

Frequent posters wanted, this is 2021 already. 3days of fifties coming, 2 down potting containers coming up and pruning at the same time.

Supposed to be having a cold spell coming. But it is only supposed to be mid twenties. We have had a mild winter so far. I keep telling myself "only six more weeks". Just six weeks and everything can come out of the greenhouse and the cold frame. (But a lot of things can happen in six weeks.) Then I can start re-potting.

Steve, I had to open the door on the greenhouse. It had gotten up to 89F, but thankfully the sun is shining to day. Only 56F outside.
