I wouldn't try to separate them this late, but you could pot the group in a bigger pot. They look quite healthy.

And you have at least three more seedlings coming up too.

Thanks for the replies! Yea I saw the seedlings too 😁, momma plant is behind the red pot, I just cant bring myself to waste good plants especiallu when I seeded them myself!

A bigger pot, sure...but basil's also pretty easy to separate and I might be inclined to take the risk with at least one of those sub-plants when you put them into the bigger pot.

(And the seedlings are probably young enough to unseat and move to their own pots with some care...)

I've actually rooted basil from the sad leavings from a packaged group after my niece got done eating most of it. It had a bit of stem and a single half-bedraggled leaf. It rooted fine, grew in a pot (with old, Miracle Gro soil in it) for the summer and produced tons of basil.

The stuff isn't exactly delicate is what I'm saying here. It'll root easily from a cutting, adjust (with some care to protect it from sun until the roots re-grow) to a separation from others, and so on with relative ease.

Noted and I agree with you Morpheus, Ive already learned, even being a somewhat beginner gardener, that Basil grows like weeds, that mother plant has been my learner plant you could say, hard to kill these things. I also have zero shortage of basil as you can tell, regardless I plan on moving my herbs to a 22" pot, Ill let you guys know how it goes over the next few days. Once again thanks for the replies!
