This is a confusing scene. But I think I recall some past posts of yours. Are you going to keep one or the other? How will you match? What are you hoping to do here?

I gel stained the sink wall cupboards dark. Wondering if they look good? If they do I would do the same to the rest of the cupboards. Otherwise I would strip and sand all the cupboards and stain them to match the interior logs.

Got it. It’s a lot of wood either way you go, but I recall that you love all the wood. I’m fine with the dark cabinets. At least fine enough that there’s no way I’d personally bite off stripping and redoing all of them. I’d say finish what you started, replace your light fixtures, and drastically improve your lighting sources so that you have better light available.

I'd strip and sand (if I was handy like you)) to match the logs, more or less.

This particular cherry stain seems a bit too dark, too red next to much more yellow walls, and a bit too formal vibe for the house.

Very cozy house..I'd leave kitchen cabinets to blend with the walls, and go for your favorite colors in accessories etc.
