Ventless dryer lint build up

Hi there! I just moved and my new place has ventless combo washer/dryer that I've been figuring out how to use. Recently I've noticed that when I wash stuff and pull it out to hang dryer it's COATED with wet lint. Ice had to wait for things to air dry and then spent hours using a lint roller to remove all the lint. I've looked all over the machine and read the manual cover to cover and there is no lint trap. Am I missing something? How can I get rid of the excess lint? Thanks in advance for any tips!!

Manufacturers produce service manuals for the various models. Such documents are typically available only to the service industry, not to consumers ... but sometimes can be found online searching the specific model number with "service manual" included on the search string. "LG combo washer dryer" is not specific enough.

What brand is it?

Yes, get the brand and model number and look up the maintenance procedures for the unit. Generally there is something you should be doing to the machine on a monthly schedule.

It's a LG combo washer dryer. I tore through the manual and their website and didn't see any concerns about the lint. Some other combo machines have a lint trap but this one doesn't so I'm scrapping lint out of the drum between washes :(

You might try searching at automaticwasher.org. Some years ago. that led me to a youtube video on fixing lint accumulations inside the machine. Can't find the AW thread but it led me to some YouTube video including this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA07FcQZORQ
