Back again different project xD1942 brick 1 1/2 story house. So my front stoop started cracking mortar in just a few joints but now its almost all the way across.Our basement has a crawl space or pantry or shelter, not sure what its original function was. Its 4 feet off the ground and about 3 feet high 3 feet back 15 feet across. Right above it is the front porch that is sinking and 1/3 of one of the bedrooms upstairs.In the future im going to pour concrete footings and build a bigger closed in front porch. But thats a few years down the road. In the meantime how should i go about patching this? Should i just dismantle it and rebrick? Or just take the damaged bricks out and patch it there? How to i support that roof if i have to take the post out? I'll post the pictures later. Thanks.
