Oh, lovely gjcore! I've been seeing a bit as well - Hyacinth bulbs are sprouting, Autumn Joy is getting some leaves at the base. I'm sure I'll see a few more things once I get out there and start moving some leaves and mulch to the side. Yay!

I was noticing the Wood Hyacinth, yesterday.

When they began growing this year's leaves, it would be hard to say. We have had some 60°f, first in 4 months and nearly record highs, and there have been a few mornings without frost. So, even if they were there unnoticed, the plants will soon be growing.

When the Wood Hyacinth bloom, it really marks for me the time when we will have sustained warm weather.
