but its a minor effort to just shove them in a hole and see what happens ...

or perhaps even better.. in a pot ... and if in a moth you dont see anything.. throw them away ...

If they don't have red growth eyes. I wouldn't bother planting them.

Are they turgid? Or dried out and shrivelled? whatever....dig a hole and bury them....but not too deep!

They pretty much just look like brown sticks. I just decided to stick them in a pot and see what happens.

I did the same with some irises I forgot. An amazing number survived. So it couldn't hurt, but yes, don't get your hope up. Could also be a sad disappointment. But I say go for it, nothing to lose.
