Do you mean bi-fold doors? Louvers, to me, means open slats regardless of the type of door mechanism. If you do not want/can not change the door style, then you have an option of building the storage platform instead of having the brand's associated prefab pedestal drawers interfere with the closet doors. Here is an open shelf example.

bi-fold doors are pretty much the same so if it doesn’t fit with one set it won’t fit with others. A homemade plinth would work but someone has to build it and it has to be stable

the other option is to install sliding barn doors replacing the bifold doors

We had bifold doors on our laundry room off the kitchen. Having the doors open interfered with walking down the hallway and opening another door. They always had to be closed. We removed the doors and left our laundry room open...handiest and best thing I have ever done. We have our two machines on pedestals and they are very handy. Is that something you could so? I would not like a curtain either.

Measured and the doorway is 59-60 inches. The two pedestals side by side would require at least 54", so I'm not sure if there is a viable option for doors that are only 3 or so inches on each side if they close on opposite sides.
