What do you need from the blinds .

light and a little privacy (light filtering). I have honeycomb blinds throughout, but I was thinking of maybe bamboo since it is only in that space.

Inside mount. They'll stay cleaner and allow the trimwork to show off. If you want to test how much splashing happens in normal living, buy a $5 paper shade from a big box store and try it out there.

Do a solar shade instead. Cleaner look and light-filtering without entirely obscuring the view.

Agree with an inside mount.

inside mount. I agree with the solar shade idea. your sink area is just a wee bit cluttered -- in a perfectly normal way, I'm not snarking -- but I think you need the cleanest looking shade style possible.

Thanks everyone!
