I had someone remove a ligustrum that was about 16 years old. They did grind the stump down, but could get more than a few inches below ground level.

I have river rock, live in zone 9b FL full sun. Have to plant something on? or around this stump.

Don't have a photo, but it is the front of my 1600 square foot stucco house.

I was reading that perhaps we could chop holes in the stump and put an ornamental grass there...Perhaps fountain grass?
