Should i drylok or not?

I know this debate is all over the place. Half the info out there say to use it half say dont use it.
I recently got interior waterproofing done; french drain, weep holes, dimple board and sump pump. The concrete block walls have 2 different coats of old ugly paint, tested lead free, they are cracking and peeling, mostly where the mortar is but also peeling on the block. The loose mortar that flakes away into dust is less than 1/4 inch depth maybe 1/8 and there are no cracks in blocks or mortar joints, so i dont think it needs pointed.l but im no expert obviously lol.
In the end im going to foam board and frame but wondering how i should prep the walls.
