Does a Gas Range with warming drawer exist?

We are doing a remodel and looking for a gas range with a warming drawer integrated somehow in the configuration. I'm looking for a 36-48". If it doesn't exist, could I use the second smaller oven that I see on some ranges as a warming drawer if the heat goes low enough? I'm trying to avoid taking up a cabinet to install a separate warming drawer. I'd love some help if you know of an option!

Hello Suz,

Lacanche has a few models in 40" and 44" widths that would give you exactly this, with 1 large oven (available in gas or convection electric) and 1 dedicated warming cupboard / simmer oven.

The 40" Volnay / Vougeot models come with 5 gas burners, while the 44" Chassagne / Chambertin give you more options for customization, with 3 or 4 burners and an additional top option.

Forgot to add I think only the dual fuel warms. Not the gas only.

The only 36" range that claims a warming drawer on appliancesconnection.com is the Ilve UPN90FVGGIX Nostalgie Series 36 Inch Freestanding All Gas Range. However there are a number of 30" gas ranges with warming drawers from major manufacturers.

@THE FRENCH BARN - Lacanche Canada Thank you Patrick, that's the exact type of configuration we are looking for. Is the drawer, bottom right, a storage drawer? Are you just a Canadian retailer, or do you also have retailers in the US? Thanks again for your thoughtful answer!

@wdccruise thank you, it's funny, that's the only one that came up in my search, but the bottom drawer looked so shallow I just wasn't sure how funtional it might be. I'll give it another look! We don't want anything smaller than 36" :) thanks again!

@Suz,

You are more than welcome. The bottom drawer on all Lacanche ranges is a storage drawer, it doesn't have a heating element. Of course it does get warm when using the oven above and can be used in that instance to warm up plates.

The warming cupboard / simmer oven on the other hand is controlled by a thermostat, from 80-230F.

If you are in the US, your best (and only ;) ) option for Lacanche is to reach out to Art Culinaire, www.frenchranges.com or sales @ frenchranges . com
