Has anyone put wooden 'placeholders' where a shelf bracket will go, and then tiling up to the placeholder. The bracket can then be installed screwing into the wood rather than drilling the tile? I'd like to do the same with the range hood. Anyone have a good experience with this - or a bad experience we can learn from?
