A glossy large tile may be hard to keep clean and is much more formal. The wood look tile is more casual. Would you consider something in between like a large driftwood type design? If you post some photos of your space you may get more ideas.

Yes, I had thought the same as we get a ton of light and I don’t want to fuss over every spot showing Or scratches. That will annoy me. Hadn’t really thought of the glossy as formal. Yes, actually the wood look tile I picked is very soft and subtle like a driftwood style but not “beachy”. When I picked it the floor designer said “I love it!”, but I think I’m second guessing as the first thing she showed me was the large format glossy. I do love it, but wondered if that was a better choice for our master bath as it needs a complete update as well.

If you have a floor designer who has seen your actual house, I'd tend to listen!
