What a nice neighbor, lucky you to get the over flow!

The best applesauce has a mix of apples so you could do that, or make some apple butter. I have canned apple pie filling but I prefer to can apple slices so I can use them for other cooking projects, and they are easy to can.

You could can Apple Maple Jam or Apple Pie Jam, cinnamon apple rings or if you want to give it a try, you can dry apple slices for snacks.

And if you have oranges in excess you can make marmalade or juice them and freeze the juice for later and candy the peel.

Do you have a freezer? We make excess and windfall apples into compote, box it up and freeze it. DH has it for breakfast with Greek yoghurt. The compote is just stewed apples. We don’t peel them and don’t add sugar.
