Those porcelain tiles are beautiful! My mom and I researched some porcelain tiles but were unable to find small ones that contain one or more of the colors she prefers--beige, rust, and sage colors (no grays or blues, busy patterns). She wants to make sure the colors flow with the color palette and decor throughout her house.

Are there any natural stones you like for her kitchen? Do you like any mentioned in my original email? Please feel free to offer additional ones.

Also, which edge trim do you typically recommend for your clients--basic white Schluter Sytem Bright White Aluminum Tile Edge Trim OR a Marble Pencil Liner Edge Trim?

Not sure if this whites will match the cabinets, but the beige should compliment the wall color. Thoughts? It's a bit pricey so I'd rather not chance it if the whites won't blend well.

I like all of the last choices you posted but this is my favorite.

I would see if you can get a box of each if the favorites and return whatever you don't life. this way you can take to a bunch of them together to see how they will look and step back and decide.

The shape and size will depend on where all it is needed and the tile used.

Instead of changing the backsplash, how about painting the walls to make the cabinets and backsplash stand out? Example.
