you could leave the wood tone under the counters [ base cabs]...I might just paint the upper cabinets but replace the doors with seeded or frosted glass... a nicer look for that semi circular section .

@herbflavor thank you! What color would you suggest i paint the upper cabinets? Also im trying to go more for the updated /contemporary look. Do you think I can achieve that with the circular bar?

I might consult w an interior designer. The shapes are unique . The space is large . there are likely some opportunities at the dining zone . Continuing w changes without a cohesive plan is often not the best w a space like this.
